Viraj Patel15 May 2024 - 09:39

A 30-point weekend for the lads, here's how we got on in Gameweek 1 of the County League...

'Great to be out there playing again with the lads, and a strong start to the 2024 campaign'
- Ankit Shah

1XI - lost by 302 runs vs Hampstead CC

Having secured promotion to Division 1, the 1XI faced off against Hampstead CC at Lymington Road. After being inserted, the former Premier club showcased some brilliant batting putting on 416-7 off their 45. In reply, our batting response never really got underway, and we were bowled out for 114 in 24.5 overs. A tough start in a strong division, but Skipper Kalps and his side will be looking to bounce back next week against Harrow St Marys CC.
