Full House? Go on then…
Electing to bat first, the boys managed to post a convincing 223. The top 5 all chipped in passing 30 runs; no doubt they all would've been disappointed not to convert their starts. Asif Mohamadi and Dylan Assani bowled extremely well up top, and managed to reduce Tigers to 50-6 with some tight bowling. Tigers had a sniff at chasing our total after building a solid partnership, but Charlie Erdwin had other plans taking 3-28, leading us to victory by 65 runs.

The 2’s hosted Trailfinders and also elect to bat first, and they would have been pleased to have posted 231-4 in their 45 overs. Soneji (37), Rye (47) and Mills (35) all chipped in, but it was the innings of Mitul Shah (83* off 82 balls) that proved to be a gamechanger. Despite Trailfinders getting off to a strong start, yet another 5-fer from Pranav Shah (that’s 2 in 2 weeks!) took us home as we won by 23 runs.

3XI
Our 3’s faced off against Stanmore CC at the Alan Digby Ground, with a win confirming promotion to Division One in the following year. The bowling of Prish & Ravi Patel never gave our opponents a chance as they took 8 wickets between them in just 15 overs, dismissing Stanmore for just 41 runs. There was no hanging around with the chase, as the lads chased the total in 6 overs and won by 9 wickets. Arguably the quickest game of cricket we’ve seen at the Alan Digby Ground, with the 3’s celebrating their promotion by 2.10pm.
Well done to all involved, and congratulations on securing promotion.

The 4XI would have been pleased as they posted 230 against North Middlesex CC after electing to bat first. Hameed Oryakhail opened up and led the charge with a magnificent 64 of 86 balls which was followed by some late hitting from Qudratullah Khiyal (31) and Muhammed Ali (21) at the back end of the innings. In response, it was the bowling of Vijay Prajapati (4-30), Mihir Patel (2-25) and Qudratullah Khiyal (3-24) which took us home as they restricted the North Middlesex side to 150 in 33 overs.
