Kenton CC 1st XI vs London Tigers CC 1st XI
The 1s travelled to London Tigers and were batting first after skipper Dylan Assani won the toss and anticipated the rain. A good opening stand of 58 from Schopun Jooma and Abbas Ilyas was followed by a quick collapse. The boys found themselves 71/7 with the middle order having no answer to the LTCC bowling although Hem Shah did try to stick around before a worldie of a catch led to his wicket. The tail tried to dig us out of a deep hole, with skipper Dylan ending on 16* however the boys were bowled out for a below par 133. At 14/2, after Dylan removed both openers, the boys started well however a big 3rd wicket partnership took the game away from us. We took a couple more wickets at the end but it was not enough. Loss by 4 wickets.

Kenton CC 2nd XI vs South Hampstead CC 2nd XI
The 2s hosted South Hampstead at the Alan Digby Ground and what a performance it was. After skipper Roshan Patel lost the toss and we were put into bat first, the boys were aware of the rain on its way in the 2nd innings. However, SH were not aware of the rain in the first innings either. It was raining boundaries off the bats of Karsh Patel 82 (72), Waaris Deen 60 (33) and skipper Roshan 47(24) as they blitzed the ball to all parts of the ground while the cool head of Nihal Halai anchored the innings with his 50 (87) as the boys posted a mammoth 331 in their 45. The rain came in the 28th over of the 2nd innings but the boys did enough to control SH with Ankit Shah taking 3 wickets in 8.4 overs and Tejpal Jadeja with 2 in his 9 overs. The rain came down heavy and showed no signs of stopping and the umpires had no choice but to call it off. Win by 77 on run rate.

Kenton CC 3rd XI vs North Middlesex CC 4th XI
The 3s hosted North Middlesex 4s at home in their final game of the season and were fielding first after skipper Jonny Rye won the toss. Knowing that the rain was on its way and the importance of this fixture, skipper Jonny gambled with the spin of Utkarsh Sahu with the new ball. Utkarsh bowled tightly, applying a lot of pressure on the North Midd batters as he ended with 3 wickets and Pranav Shah with a 5-fer, ran riot to remove the North Midd middle and lower order. In-form skipper Rye and Rajiv Soneji put on 102 for the 1st wicket and took the game away from North Midd as Rye brought up 56 in just 40 balls and Soneji added 42 (46). Puneet Pattni and Kushal Subasinghe then put the icing on the cake as they finished the job and a win by 6 wickets.

Kenton CC 4th XI vs Perivale Phoenicians CC 3rd XI
The 4s travelled to Perivale Phoenicians in interesting conditions to say the least. In reply, Raj Parmar and Devesh took 2 each before the rain came down heavy and playing conditions became extremely unsafe. Match abandoned.
