
Kenton CC 1st XI vs London Tigers CC 1st XI
The 1s hosted London Tigers and skipper Dylan Assani was searching for some consistency within the team. He won the toss and we were batting first. Schopun Jooma got us going quickly with his 31 (23) opening up but the innings was anchored by Yashil Kamdar’s 50 (64), backing up his promotion up the order and his first 1st XI half-century. Then came the storm as Waaris Deen powered 90* (37) with 80, YES EIGHTY, runs in boundaries! The boys got up to a massive 315/8 after 45 overs thanks to that blitz from Waaris. Onto the defence and Dylan got 1 in the first over and from that moment we were all over LTCC, Kalpesh Kerai and Charles Erdwin both took 2 wickets each but pick of the bowlers was Hem Shah with 4-34. LTCC 197AO. Win by 118 runs??

Harrow Town CC 2nd XI vs Kenton CC 2nd XI
The 2s travelled to Harrow Town and were bowling first after skipper Kaushal Patel lost the toss. Ajmal Jabrekheil and Prithvi Nakrani kept it tight with the new ball and Prithvi was rewarded for his efforts with his 3-fer as he finished with figures of 3-34. Kaushlendra Singh and Puneet Pattni contained the middle order as they took 5 wickets between them and the 2s were chasing 163. Rajiv Soneji anchored with 42 (107) but wickets fell around him. Sohail Butt got us close with his 41 (58) but ultimately we fell just short. 157AO. Loss by 5 runs?

Kenton CC 3rd XI vs Acton CC 3rd XI
The 3s hosted Acton Cricket Club and were fielding first after skipper Rishi Toor lost the toss. Jameel Shah and Devesh Kerai bowled superbly for their 3-fers, supported by Raj and Pranav to help restrict Acton to 205 on what was a good deck for batting on. Devesh ended with 3-40 and Jameel Shah 3-44. This deck was utilised well by Vraj and Yug who saw us home comfortably with 13 overs to spare. Vraj anchored all the way through with his composed innings of 70* (81), hitting 11 fours and a six, while Yug powered his way to 64 (44), hitting 9 fours and 2 sixes. Soham hit the winning runs. Win by 6 wickets??

South Hampstead CC 3rd XI vs Kenton CC 4th XI
The 4s took on @sthhampsteadcc and were fielding first. Rahil Patel got us on the board in his first over of the season before quickly scalping another. Jaisal Jansari got in on the act too with 2, including a fantastic caught & bowled. SH got upto 228/4 in their 45. Searan Karamchandani and Bishan Shah's opening partnership of 115 set the tone before a mini collapse saw us 171/5. Ravi Patel came in and hit a few big sixes, ending 39* (41) and combined with Bish’s elegance, saw us home with 5.4 overs to spare. Bish ended 85* (96). Win by 5 wickets.
