Match Report: 3XI vs Indian Gymkhana CC (07/05/2022)

A new season, some new faces and some old…win the toss and insert the opposition. Done. A solid opening bowling spell from Prish and Ravi Patel, creating opportunities throughout. Some taken but a few dropped. At drinks, Gymkhana looked set to posting a score around 150-160 with 7 wickets in hand, however Tushal Nath with the help of Vijay Prajapati, Preyam and the fielders finally learning to catch, Saif and Krunal taking screamers, we skittle the opposition for 132, 30-40 short of par.

In the chase, we lost Snehal early but new recruit Karan Verma made his mark on the game, with some lusty blows he took run rate of the equation and lead the chase. Unfortunately he fell short of his 50 and with 60 still needed and 6 wickets in hand. Enter the trademark KCC collapse…few overs later, 30 needed 3 wickets remain. Thankfully Ravi got some lusty blows away and a few 2's to lead us to 10points!
